Provincial leaders received the delegation attending the "Friendly Spring Excursion" program.

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 27th, at the Provincial People's Committee headquarters, comrades Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received the delegation participating in the "Friendly Spring Excursion" program.

The delegation included: Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Türkiye, Pakistan, and the Kingdom of Cambodia to Vietnam; the Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of the Lao Consulate General in Da Nang; and the President of the National Entrepreneurship Association.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation to visit and participate in the "Friendly Spring Trip" program in Gia Lai province.

Sharing about the province's potential and advantages, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc said: Gia Lai was formed on the basis of the merger of two provinces, Binh Dinh and Gia Lai, opening up a new development space with the connection between the highlands and the coast. With its strategic location on the East-West and North-South connecting axes, Gia Lai has favorable conditions to develop into a hub for trade, logistics, tourism and cross-border cooperation; playing an important role in regional and international linkages and ensuring national defense and security.

In addition, the province also possesses a rich and diverse natural ecosystem, combining highlands, midlands and coastal areas. Gia Lai has diverse natural resources, fertile land suitable for the development of high-tech agriculture, renewable energy and marine economy.

Gia Lai province is also a land rich in historical traditions, unique identity, and aspirations for development. This is a crucial social foundation for expanding cooperation, strengthening people-to-people exchanges, and building a stable and sustainable development environment.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Dai Ngoc welcomed the delegation attending the "Friendly Spring Excursion" program in Gia Lai province.

With these potentials and advantages, Gia Lai province desires and is ready to strengthen international cooperation in many fields such as: investment, trade and infrastructure development; high-tech agriculture, deep processing and sustainable development; tourism, culture and people-to-people exchanges; science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, education and human resource training; nature conservation, resource management, climate change response and green development; health, social security and community development.

Provincial Party Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc pledged to continue to significantly improve the investment environment, support businesses, create favorable conditions for international cooperation activities, ensuring transparency, stability and effectiveness.

Speaking at the reception, the Ambassadors, Consuls General, and representatives of diplomatic agencies and international organizations in Vietnam expressed their gratitude for the warm and cordial welcome extended by the provincial leaders to the delegation.

The Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City expressed his desire to expand cooperation with Gia Lai province in the future.

The delegation members highly appreciated the potential and strengths of Gia Lai province and recognized many opportunities for cooperation in the areas the province is focusing on attracting investment; at the same time, they expressed confidence that Gia Lai province will soon become an ideal destination for investors, a "golden bridge" connecting Vietnam with the world.

In their capacity as representatives of diplomatic agencies, the ambassadors pledged to strengthen connections and expand cooperative relations with Gia Lai province in the future.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan invited Ambassadors, Consuls General, and representatives of diplomatic agencies and international organizations to take time to participate in the events during the opening week of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026.

Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that within the framework of the Opening Week of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, many major events will take place, such as: the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference, the Opening Ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026; along with a series of other special activities, including the "Friendly Spring Trip" program.

During the spring trip, delegates will explore the beauty bearing the distinctive thousand-year-old Champa architectural imprint of Banh It Tower; visit Lang Song Minor Seminary (Lang Song Church) - one of the first three establishments to print books in the Vietnamese Quốc ngữ script in Vietnam, associated with the formation and development of the Quốc ngữ script; and learn about the essence of martial arts at Long Phuoc Pagoda Martial Arts School; and enjoy classical Tuong plays and the simple yet profound Bai Choi melodies at the Gia Lai Provincial Traditional Arts Theater.

Chairman Pham Anh Tuan hoped that the delegates would have memorable experiences in Gia Lai province. This will help us understand more about the land, people, and development direction of the province. From there, it will become an important bridge, contributing to introducing, connecting, and promoting increasingly deeper, more practical, and effective cooperative relationships between Gia Lai province and international partners in the future.
