During the meeting with the Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ), Chairman Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated KBIZ’s role in fostering international economic cooperation for Korea’s small and medium-sized business community. He noted that, both in Vietnam in general and Gia Lai Province in particular, small and medium-sized enterprises account for a large share of the economy and make important contributions to economic growth, job creation, and socio-economic development.
Providing information on Gia Lai Province’s potential and advantages following the administrative reorganization, the Chairman emphasized that the province now combines the strengths of both the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands regions. At the same time, investment is being promoted for the Phu My Deep-Sea Port project, which will be able to accommodate vessels of up to 150,000 tons, opening up significant opportunities for attracting investment and developing the marine economy.
