With 7.3 million visitors, Gia Lai province earned nearly 1,200 billion VND from tourism

In 2025, Gia Lai is expected to welcome 7.3 million tourists, generating nearly 1,200 billion VND in tourism revenue, with many socio-economic indicators continuing to grow.

On January 5th, the Gia Lai Provincial Statistics Department held a press conference to announce the socio -economic statistics for 2025, showing many positive growth indicators across various sectors.

According to the report, total state budget revenue in the province in 2025 reached 26,656 billion VND. Total investment for development implemented in the province is estimated at 85,330 billion VND. During the year, approximately 3,000 new businesses registered throughout the province, with a total registered capital of over 27,000 billion VND.

In 2025, Gia Lai province is expected to receive 7.3 million visitors, generating nearly 1,200 billion VND in tourism revenue.

In terms of agriculture, the province currently has approximately 479,000 hectares of perennial crops, 169,000 hectares of rice, and 294,000 hectares of annual crops. The total livestock population includes over 26,700 buffaloes, over 790,000 cows, and more than 1.6 million pigs.

Aquaculture production remained stable, with total farmed output estimated at 300,000 tons and harvested output at approximately 281,000 tons.

In the trade and service sector, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached over 198,000 billion VND. Of this, total retail sales of goods were estimated at 149,000 billion VND.

Notably, tourism continues to recover strongly. In 2025, Gia Lai is expected to welcome approximately 7.3 million overnight visitors. Revenue from accommodation and food services is estimated at 28,700 billion VND; revenue from travel and tourism services is expected to reach approximately 1,200 billion VND.

Regarding import and export, the province's total trade turnover for the year reached over 4.4 billion USD, of which exports amounted to 3.4 billion USD and imports to over 985 million USD.
