The Spring Festival in Pleiku, Gia Lai includes cultural, artistic, sports and traditional culinary activities, imbued with the identity of the ethnic minorities here.
Coming to the festival, people and tourists can enjoy many unique performances and experiences such as: Central Highlands gongs, Mong people's panpipe dance, Xoe dance and love song of Muong people, and Tay and Nung people's bamboo dance.
Each ethnic group also brings fun folk games such as: throwing con, climbing trees to get rewards, walking on stilts, tug of war, making visitors extremely excited.
The Spring Festival is held on the occasion of Lunar New Year (1st-3rd or lasting until 5th), at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku center campus. There are also expanded activities at cultural houses and remote wards and communes such as Kông Lơng Khơng, Sơn Lang...
