Every year in November, Gia Lai is dressed in a brilliant yellow coat of wild sunflowers. To honor the beauty of nature and preserve the cultural identity of the Central Highlands, the Chư Đang Ya wild sunflower festival has also been organized as an annual event and attracts many tourists.

The festival is usually held at the Rong house of Ia Gri village in Gia Lai province. In addition to admiring the beautiful flowers in the early morning, visitors can also participate in gong exchange activities, admire the art of brocade weaving, enjoy rice wine or experience the bustling activities of the Jrai and Bahnar people.
