The Central Highlands Gong Culture Festival is one of the most grandiose traditional festivals in Gia Lai. This festival is an opportunity to honor and preserve the Central Highlands Gong Cultural Space - an intangible heritage recognized by UNESCO. Not only gathering artisans from all over the Central Highlands provinces, this festival also has the participation of art troupes from Laos, Cambodia and Thailand.

In addition to the unique gong performances, the festival also recreates the community living space, where traditional rituals such as the water wharf worship, the new rice celebration or the buffalo stabbing festival take place. The festival usually takes place at the end of March, when the Central Highlands enters the most beautiful time of the year and attracts many tourists.
