The Đăk Pơ victory site is located on Highway 19 in An Thành Commune, Đăk Pơ District, about 65km east of Pleiku City. Here, the 96th Regiment of the V Inter-Zone Command ambushed and destroyed the French Mobile Combat Unit 100 (GIM 100). This site was recognized as a historical and cultural site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) under Decision No. 53/2001/QD-BVHTT dated December 28, 2001.
